  12. Close all programs and applications before inserting the CD-Rom. When all applications are closed, place the CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.

  14. If your CD-ROM drive is compatible with the AutoPlay function, a splash screen is automatically displayed when the CD-ROM is inserted. Follow the instructions displayed.

  16. If the splash screen is not displayed, proceed as follows for a PC:

  18. 1. Click on Start in the taskbar and select Run. 
  19.  
  20. 2. Type D:\polarexpresscd.exe (where D: is the letter of your CD-Rom drive) and press the ENTER key.

  22. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  25. If the splash screen is not displayed, proceed as follows for a MAC:

  27. 1. Find the CD-Rom icon labeled Polar Express Disc and double click.

  29. 2. When the contents of the CD-Rom are displayed, double click on the file called polarexpresscd.

  31. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
